Term 3 Week 2

On Monday morning we had assembly. On Monday afternoon we were going to have cross country practice, but it rained and so it was too wet, so we didn't end up doing it. On Tuesday morning we had tech ( fabric ). We have started to make our pillows. First we had to draw our design on paper. We had draw lines 7.5 cm from the edge so we ended up with a square in the middle. In the square we had to draw or write something. Around the outside we got to decorate it too. Then when we had finished it we had to get a square of fabric, and then we had to trace our work on the paper on to the fabric with a pencil. Then we had to go over the pencil marks with a vivid. On Friday we are going to paint them with acrylic paint. On Wednesday we had Mr McCabe in the morning. In the middle block we did an Australian maths test. In the afternoon the year 7's had french, and then we had jump jam. On Thursday afternoon the Te Awamutu College are coming for the college expo. Every year they come for the year 8's that are going there. They show what is for offer for them next year. The year 7's go to though.

Term 3 Week 1

This week on Monday we had assembly. We had it for an hour and fifteen minutes. In the afternoon we had cross country running instead of our ALC time. I ran one and a half laps which is two laps of the school field and one lap of Sherwin Park. On Tuesday morning we had tech arts. The year 7's have now started fabric with Mrs Kilgour, and the year 8's have started music with Mrs Germann. In the afternoon we did cross country again. I ran 2.1 kilometres. On Wednesday we did running again and I ran 2.8 kilometres this time, which is two laps of the field and Sherwin Park.    

Term 2 Week 11

On Monday I wasn't at school. On Tuesday morning we had tech arts. I am making a shelf and door set. You open the door/s ( one on the top, one on the front ) and the are two shelves inside. I am nearly finished my LED runway too. On Friday is our last lesson of woodwork, as it is the end of the term. Next term we start fabric. On Wednesday I was away. On Thursday we had school singing. I didn't go because I did an Otago problem solving sheet. On Thursday afternoon we were meant to have Friday sport ( because we are having a student assembly we had Friday sport on Thursday and student assembly on Friday ), but it was raining so we didn't do it, so instead we did jump jam. On Friday middle block we had tech arts. In the afternoon we had student assembly because it was the end of term.
