Term 2 Week 10

On Monday morning we had assembly. On Monday afternoon we went into the ALC ( Arts and Leisure Centre ) to play soccer. I scored two goals. We had to sub ourselves on and off, and workout who to sub off next. On Tuesday morning we had woodwork. We are making things with LED lights. I am making a plane runway, and I am nearly finished. I have soldered all the lights on but they didn't work so I have to put more tape around the edge, and change the circuit of the light because there is only three volts running through and there needs to be nine. Also the people that were going to Belmont ( a place in Auckland ) left in the morning. Every year Belmont kids travel to Te Awamutu intermediate to compete in a sports day, and TAI people travel to Belmont for the same reason. On Tuesday afternoon, the Belmont students arrived and went with their billets. On Wednesday afternoon the sports were on. We won rugby, lost soccer but I don't know about basketball and hockey.

Term 2 Week 7

On Tuesday morning the year 7's didn't have tech arts ( design/woodwork ), only the year 8's. It was because Mr Monk ( design/woodwork teacher ) was not at school for the morning unfortunately. Instead we did a maths test. On Wednesday afternoon we had french. We had to pair up with someone, greet them, ask them how they are, ask them their name and ask them to spell it. Straight after we had jump jam. On Thursday Mrs Crowe ( the teacher ) was at a funeral, so she was away the whole day. Mrs Duncan ( room 2's teacher had to keep on eye on us. Since we were so quiet she gave us all an honesty signature. Then we had school singing. In the afternoon block we had SSR then straight after we had student assembly.
