Term 1 Week 3

This week in music we learnt how to hold a guitar properly. We also learnt who Beethoven was and how he made music. Beethoven was deaf when he wrote his last few music pieces. So to know what the music sounded like he taped his piano on the floor and the piano vibrated and he felt it inside him and that was how he wrote his last music pieces. In maths I reminded myself how to round to the nearest ten and hundred etc. I learnt how to do power numbers. In french I learnt when and how to say greetings in french. For example: you say Bonjour and Salut in the daytime and at night you say Bonsoir in the evening. I learnt that you say mademoiselle for girls and monsieur for boys. You say Maman for mum and Papa for dad. This week we did two tests: spelling and punctuation. I remembered to take my time and only worry about my own work.

My Reflection-Week 2 Term 1

This week I reminded myself that face value means the number it self, Place value means the column that the number is in and total value means the number times its column.
I also learnt in music that the best guitarist in the world ( Tommy Emanual ) started playing the guitar at five. I also learnt how to play a few tunes on the keyboard. I learnt music keys such as minims, semibreves, crotchets and quavers.
I also set up my very own blog. I got to make my own name for it and choose my own background.
I also learnt where to go to get canteen food.
I learnt that every second week a man from the bible chapel comes to the school to do the religious instruction assembly.
I reminded myself to take my device to school every day, and to wear my shoes to assembly.
